We are a small computer company located at 7 N. 3rd Street in Groton, SD. We have been repairing computers here in our shop and on the road since June 1, 2005.

Although Grand Slam Computers is a fairly new company, our roots are from a business called Country Computers which was owned and operated by Neil Stokke. He ran the business out of his home for over a decade amassing customers from near and far. He and his wife decided to move to Chicago, IL to be closer to some of her family and sold the business to Matt Locke.

Matt graduated from SDSU in Brookings, SD and held different teaching/coaching positions in Cresbard and Langford before purchasing the business from Mr. Stokke.

Lance Haskell has been with the business for a year and half. He graduated from Lake Area Tech in Watertown SD with an associates degree in computer information systems with emphasis on computer networking.

We do a little bit of everything around here. From networking projects to replacing failed parts to designing websites and video projects. We also sell new and used desktop and laptop computers. The new ones are either built on site or ordered from a manufacturer based in Minneapolis, MN.

No matter what we are doing, customer satisfaction is our number one priority and we will do everything in our power to make sure you are happy with the quality of our machines and the service that we provide.
